Wendy holds her Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, as well as many certifications in the fitness field; including “Exercise Physiologist”, “Health and Fitness Specialist”, and “Personal Training” through the American College of Sports Medicine. She has more than ten years of experience coaching both recreational and elite athletes to achieve their very best.
Additionally, Wendy has had the opportunity to work alongside some of the best coaches and trainers in the industry as the Manager of all Fitness Facilities at Stanford University for five years. She has now retired from this position in order to focus on flourishing her and her husband’s business, Cyberbodyshop.
Wendy is a highly motivated and passionate component to the Cyberbodyshop duo. As an accomplished gymnast and track athlete starting at theearly age of 7, Her passion for fitness has always been naturally innate.
Track and Field was Wendy’s original “forte” throughout college and graduate school; however, when Wendy was at the peak of her track career, a bad foot injury kept her from competing in the Olympic Trials in the 800 meters in 2008. As a result of this series of unfortunate events, Wendy discovered the sport of bodybuilding through her boyfriend (now husband and business partner), Matt Allen. Matt introduced her to the sport of figure competition to help take her mind off of losing out on the end of her track season, and she was instantly hooked.
Wendy was blessed with great genetics for achieving a streamlined, lean physique, and she has always loved to perform. She discovered this sport to be her destiny, and the perfect combination of the right elements to allow her true talents to shine.
Since Wendy began competing in figure competitions, she has won 4 overall titles in her amateur career; including Miss Figure USA 2011, where she earned her professional league status with the IFBB. As a Professional Figure competitor, Wendy has placed in multiple contests and has earned her spot as an Olympia-level contender.
